The Lake District is in North West England, bordering Scotland. It is within easy travelling distance of Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds, York, Harrogate, Blackpool, and Glasgow. Created by glaciers, the lakes and mountains are spectacular. The whole area is easily accessible by car, but by walking, mountain biking or horse riding you get closer to the scenery and wildlife of the area. |

Witherslack Hall Equestrian Centre is situated in South Lakeland. Easy to find from Junction 36 of the M6 we are 8 miles from Grange-Over-Sands, 10 miles from Kendal and 10 miles from Windermere. Consiton Water, Cartmel, Ulverston and the Furness Peninsular are easily accessible along good roads. |
